Animal Cruelty Investigation Group
I work with a large team of colleagues many of whom also work for other campaigning groups at different times. Some colleagues also run their own investigation groups. A common theme though is the use of lawful but hard-hitting investigation techniques.
A group for people in the Bedfordshire area who are concerned about animal abuse and want to help bring about an end to the suffering.
Bridgend Animal Rights is a new group based in Bridgend, South Wales. We are looking for people who want to get active in animal rights in the South Wales area. Stalls are currently being held against the fur trade and meat industry, vivisection and promoting vegetarianism/veganism.
Aside from our leading campaigns Brighton Animal Action supports national campaigns locally.
Provides details about animal rights issues,how to contact the group,a forum,a calendar of events,links to other websites,ways to help animals and animals needing homes.
We're a new, grass roots Animal Rights group actively working in Carmarthenshire, Mid/South Wales, to end animal cruelty and to promote the philosophy of Veganism. We also often demonstrate against companies that profit from animal cruelty so look out for our bulletins for updates & general AR info.
The group is very active in a wide variety of campaigns both local and around the country. Everything from exotic pet markets to circuses and the meat industry to the fur trade. We also promote the veggie/vegan diets as the best way anyone can help animals whilst also improving their health and helping to save the planet at the same time.

In the Eighties the group diversified into general animal rights issues and henceforth had a dual identity Derby Animal Rights and Derby Hunt Saboteurs.
Committed to opposing and exposing animal cruelty and was set up to help end the massive suffering of farm animals by promoting vegetarianism and veganism. We initiate campaigns locally to expose cruelty and also act in support of national organisations.
Foie Gras Action was formed to combat the restaurant trade's continued sale of foie gras, a 'delicacy' made from the diseased livers of ducks and geese. On a daily basis, the birds have pipes forced down their throats and are fed grain until their livers become inflamed, swollen and infected. A loophole in the law makes it legal to import the food. Restaurants throughout the country serve the dish and we intend to highlight those involved and bring an end to this grisly trade.
Hunt Watch was formed February 2005. It was set up as a base for all hunt monitoring groups in the UK. We will monitor fox, hare, stag/deer and mink hunts, as well as hare coursing.
We are a group of concerned people in Lancaster and south lakes, who are campaigning towards a better world for animals.
Leicester Animal Concern (LAC) campaigns against all animal abuse. LAC runs a regular educational stall in Leicester city centre and organises Leicester Green Fair in the spring and a Cruelty Free Christmas Fair. Individual members of LAC are involved in sanctuary work and raising funds for animal causes. Leicester Animal Concern promotes a compassionate vegan lifestyle.
A local campaign group dedicated to speaking out for the rights and welfare of animals. The group meets fortnightly to discuss and plan events such as information stalls, local demos and also attend national demos. This group is NON VIOLENT, we are a peaceful lot who just want to help those who do not have a voice!
London Animal Rights helps to co-ordinate the various campaigns in and around the London area. If you wish to be kept informed about events in the London area, there are regular alerts via email text and phone. To subscribe free to one or more lists, or for further information, contact us.

North East Animal Rights (NEAR) is a newly made group based in the North East of England. Nothing much has happened in the North East - in the way of activism as far as we know, for quite some time - but thats now changing. We will be organising demos, hunt sabbing, stalls and other activities to get the word out about animal suffering. Please help us to acheive this by adding us and spreading the word about this myspace. When we have a good group going then we can think about organising transport to large demo's around the country.

Sheffield Animal Friends is a new animal rights group based in Sheffield. We are currently looking for people who want to get active in animal rights in the South Yorkshire area. We are currently doing weekly foie gras demo’s to make Sheffield foie gras free, as well as doing weekly stalls and demonstrations against the fur/vivisection/meat industries.

We aim to create a network to link existing student groups and help to create new ones, allowing students across the country to share their ideas and experiences. We can also give help and advice on various issues.

Also running the 'Dying For a Pint' campaign, aimed at naming and shaming pubs and hotels who host hunts in the West Yorkshire area and are known for continuing to hunt and kill animals illegally.
