Activist Security handbook
The purpose of this website is to provide a home for our booklet on practical security for activists and campaigners which is free to download. Small parts are specific to the United Kingdom but the majority of it will be suitable to people working all over the world. It has been written by UK activists who have successfully campaigned for over a decade in the face of increasing repression from the state and corporations.
Activist's Legal Project
A not for profit collective which provides information about the law to a wide range of grassroots social change activists as well as people who are considering taking action for the first time. We provide information sheets on legal issues relevant to direct activists and offer free legal workshops facilitated by activists, with first hand experience of the criminal and civil 'justice' systems.
Animal Liberation Front Supporters Group (ALFSG)
The ALFSG exists to support activists unfortunate enough to end up behind bars from animal rights campaigns. We also promote an understanding of the reasons why decent, caring people feel forced to break the law. We are separate to the ALF, and we operate legally and above ground.
Animal Rights Copwatch
Run by activists from the Western Animal Rights Network and will contain names and numbers of notorious FIT, NETCU and SOCA Cops not to mention beat cops who love to interfere with legal protest!
Animal Rights Prisoner List.
Prisoners convicted and on remand currently in the UK who have indicated they would like to receive correspondence.
Association of Lawyers for Animal Welfare
ALAW wants to see a world where there are comprehensive and effective laws to protect animals from the deliberate infliction of pain and distress on them by people, and where the laws are properly enforced...
Free Sean Kirtley
In June 2008, Sean Kirtley was sentenced to four and a half years for holding peaceful demonstrations against Sequani and its suppliers. He was identified as a main target by police as he updated the SSAT website and phone and internet records according to police showed a hierarchy and some form of organisation! (Which is clearly illegal now…)
freeB.E.A.G.L.E.S.
Legal resource centre for UK political campaigners. In this website we provide materials to introduce you to your legal rights, and to what to expect if you are misfortunate to run into trouble with the law. It is important to know your rights and to stand up for them to prevent them being taken from you.
